Good thoughts IMO.  I'd concur, but it will be a little dicey for all to work on a settlement together as settlements will no doubt reveal a bit of the inner workings of the infringers, which each will want to guard from the other.  It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

The more I think of it, I DO think TPL/PTSC will want to, (and I think it's in their best interest to), release the settlements announcement in one PR for all three.  That way they should be able to announce figures in a combined fashion and thus circumvent non-disclosure issues with each company's settlement.
