You're assuming a given time for the signing is an unknown. I think it's possible that the signing could already have been done.......maybe last Tuesday or Wednesday. They're not big on letting us know just what's happening right now. The "quiet period" has been explained previously by those who know a lot more than I do.

If the signing is already a done deal, there has to be a time to make the public announcement and time must be set aside for press and media coverage. I think Kidd predicted that we might hear something Tuesday. I hope he's right.
