Wolf thank you for this post.  Right now I follow 300 stocks with my own algorithms that produce stops, buy and sell signals and update the daily, weekly, and monthly charts on a real-time basis.  Presently I am using a Dell lap-top with an Intel core 2 duo processor and early in the mornings during heavy trading the computer can not handle the work load.  Dell tells me that the quad core is not yet available for lap-tops but should be shortly and I am sure there will be a great demand for the computers as soon as they become available.
