Dumb Question

Admittedly not being immersed to the extent many here are in the legal knowledge and background of the PTSC saga, and definitely not techie enough to understand the MMP to a great extent, I am a bit unclear as to why the 584 patent is the one people refer to in the reexam, when PubPat site references that it requested the rexam of the 336?
