The wording was "in excess of several hundred million dollars". Considering "a couple" = 2, "a few" = 3 or more, I'd say "several" has to mean at least 4, so "in excessof several hundred" has to mean at least a half a billion in original claims against the J5. With Fujitsu & Sony settling, the remaining claims must be at least $300M.
Now, considering all of that was done under the old regime, I'm assuming they were claming anything and everything they thought could arguably stick, and then some, and were expecting to have to give away something through negotiations, I'd expect those numbers to be on the ultimate high side. That being said, it certainly would stand to reason that the remaining real claims should be NO LESS than $200M and $150M would certainly be a "discounted" settlement enticing offer.
