Actually, there were a combination of things affecting EDIG at the time. A License to a SK company called Maycom, CES was happening with EDIG there, lots of rumors, and an un-published article mentioning EDIG by name as the "fix" for the MP3 player multi-CODEC/DRM issue. That, plus the "irrational exuberance" of late '99 early '00.

So, in reality, there wasn't much to propel EDIG to that lofty level. No sales, no contracts containing any money. Nor much to lift PTSC to $7 a share in the same timeframe.
