Two things......I read my post twice before posting and did not see one spelling mistake.......There are a few.......

        IMO while we jointly own the patents we defer to TPL in settlement amounts..........We are just a wealthy passenger .......TPL also can not afford to lose this case...........Settlement is not always about being fair.......................Like Bankerson said, neither side knows each others bottom line...........The J'S have deep pockets.........If they lost in court it would not put them out of business...........This has nothing to do about being Japanese.............Both sides have to save face.........Both sides have to come away feeling like they won...........
