My gut feeling is that the settlement numbers when/if we get them will be much higher than has been discussed here in general. The longer it takes the better. That's why I say not until the end of the stay period will we find out. If you have ever been in sales experience says that to give in too early leaves the other person thinking they could have done better.
Now if what one of the posters said it is only about calculating the numbers because the formula was set before stay then sooner would be OK and better. Let's start earning interest on the settlement dollars ( Can we get paid in yen please.. worth more these days..) Also I don't think each company will be paying the same amount because they have each infringed in different ways and with different numbers of products and sales figures. Unless they are united to split the amount three ways I don't see equal payments. My gut feeling is about 250 or 300 million total with half of that to PTSC. What is your gut saying based on your experience and viewpoint?
