Confidential numbers??

IMHO the "licence&numbers-communications-situation" can be seen in two parts:

1. = BEFORE settlement with the J3.                                                     The negotiations with the current 25 licensees were tactical driven and should garantuee a steady stream of revenue to TPL and Patriot. For TPL's negotiations purpose it was better a potential licensee didn't know the concrete amount of the licence fee paid by the others licensees. Thus the numbers had to be hidden.

IMO the most important reason to sell a licence UNTIL NOW was to establish a broad range of well-known companies from different industries and continents to show the strong acceptance of MMP in the upcoming trial.

2. AFTER the settlement with the J3.                                                    If the settlement numbers are satisfying, the situation changes "piovital" (I love this word from Mr. Pohl...) and I see no more reason, why it should help TPL/PTSC to hide the numbers during the negotiation talks with further licensees. On the contrary the published numbers will raise the pressure on the informed 400 companies.

IMO the most important reason to sell a licence IN THE FUTURE (which hopefully starts next week) will be to get the biggest profit out of the MMP (which not only has to be moneywise, can be business cooperations, too).

This is btw the reason I told Ronran months ago, that the settlement with the J3 is NOT the superbowl final - it is the start to build up a team to win the superbowl in the next years EVERY YEAR.                               Assuming a successful and powerful settlement we should see a broad and clever pr campaign in the next days, weeks and months. At least in a perfect world...lol

Have a great day and evening!
