BMW is a repair bill waiting to happen.....It always does and it is for big bucks........As an example a 2004 LS with miles in the 40's would retail for about 30 k mint without NAV......Add another 2-3 k for nav and DVD system............These prices are from new car dealers where the mark up could be $4-5 thousand..............If the car is a 60 day old unit then the price might drop a few thousands.............Most dealerships do a Carfax when the car hits the property...............You can ask for one and it will give you the listing date...........That can be your bargining chip......

Privately is the way to go if possible............ASK for every record and make sure that the car never had any paint work...........A repainted car for any reason makes the care worth less.............Try passing one by me....No way......Orig is the way to go.....Stay away from any european cars............They ride the best, but they are high maintance....Time to hit the sack............Lets hope that tomm is our day...Larry
