Why do you say that? Do you have any idea to whom you were speaking? The receptionist? Somebody in the mailroom? There are very few people who would know when a decision is likely to come. The examiner being one of them, if in fact he was close to finishing. And I seriously doubt anyone in any lower position would know. So exactly who is it that you talked to at the USPTO?
