Is there any chance that the motion to stay could be related to a disagreement between the J3 and a group settlement, and that the attachments are associated with communicating that for the judge (ie. letters between he J's)? Hence, they are asking for a stay in order not to end up with a partial defection.

I would think this would be an unlikely scenario, but if it were happening, would it likely be accompanied by such a motion? Also, IMO, if that is the reasoning, would you think the underlying motive is to stall?
