Hail from the EDIG board.
I recently bought a small amount of PTSC and have been catching up with this board over the past week or so. I have a very simple question if you please...
I’ve seen many references to the Js (or J3) which apparently refer to the Japanese companies involved in the lawsuit. According to the recent PACER, I count more than 3 separate companies:
Matsushita Electrical Industrial Co., Ltd.
Panasonic Corporation of North America
JVC Americas Corporation
NEC Electronics America, Inc.
Toshiba Corporation
Toshiba America, Inc.
Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc.
Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc.
Toshiba America Consumer Products, LLC.
Obviously all the Toshibas could be thought of as one entity, and I believe Matsushita = Panasonic - so there’s two. Does JVC or NEC own the other - thus 3 or how does this work out otherwise to be 3 separate entities?
Perhaps Matsushita also owns JVC or NEC? That seems possible but I don’t remember. Just curious.
TIA.
