Look at it from the Judge's perspective. He grants a 30 day stay, and apparently got zip. And the defendants have the nerve to ask for another stay w/o it being a joint motion. If I were Judge Ward, I'd be sufficiently disturbed that I might get those attorneys in my office and let them know exactly how I felt about the current state of affairs. And I would not grant any further stay w/o seeing something concrete in relation to settlement. Opty
