IMI you are correct, but I would expect the J's to file an appeal immediately if this went to court and they lost. I am not an attorney either, but I know that is what Echostar did when they lost their case with TiVo, and they have yet to pay the award to date which equated to around $79M. If memory serves me, Echostar filed an appeal in less than 24 hours after they lost the case.
