I don't know anything... well, not much... I mean there are things I know that I know, and there there are the things that I know that I don't know.... there are the unknowns so who among us knows what we know, etc. (ala Rumsfield).... however....
The Monday PTC was scheduled into this month all along, even before any settlement talks extension requests, correct? Is this one of the things that I think I know but that I really don't know? And, assuming that it was a regularly scheduled event why would we find it curious or important that it was moved forward one day, especially from a Monday to a Tuesday? I would think he's just extending the weekend for both parties, considering that they were expected to be hard at it for the past few weeks, including Fridays. It makes sense to give them a weekend off and time on Monday to communicate, if necessary, and to travel to Texas. It's a non-event.
We may not know, in fact, we all we know is that we don't know if we have settled or not, but moving a hearing from Monday to Tuesday I think tells us nothing more than what we already knew what we didn't know.
It's a 50/50 question of whether we go to trial or not although if I had to put money on the line it would be that the deed is done. Turley was a hair short of outright bragging in the interview the other day. If we have a clue it was there, right from the horse's mouth.
But what do we know? Most of us know that there is a 95% chance that if we settled it was because we had a lock on the technology... and that if we go to trial that there too, we have a 95% chance of winning the trial. What more is there to know?
I'd spend my time trying to know what I already know and that is how I ought to buy a little more PTSC stock.
