PTSC owns patents that have already been purchased by 29 companies for over 200 million total dollars. There are currently 5 companies collectively being sued for patent infringement. Judge Ward heard the prelim case ("Markman hearings") and his comments on the case are favorable to PTSC. Some here, based on this and a 30 day "stay" expect a settlement from these companies very soon. The settlement could be for over 200 million dollars. "If" these companies settle for a large amount, this would substantially increase the liklihood of settlements or court rulings in PTSC favor from several hundred other potential patent infringing companies. This would result in hundreds of millions (or even billion) dollars for PTSC. It appears that there is a possibility for a huge share price increase. Of course, nothing is certain, but based on 29 companies already settling and the favorable comments from Judge Ward, the liklihood of many more dollars for the patents remains high.
