Judge Ward was ready to proceed with PTC and Jury Trial to begin on 1/7/08. Plaintiffs had a strong case of patent infringement to present to the jury and defendants weren't ready to argue invalidity of patents. IMO, TPL/PTSC took the chance to go forward with the PTO Process.
