I like to read your posts but I have to disagree with one statement in your post. You say "If they cut a cheap sweetheart deal they would have no problem with the numbers being out there, in fact they would probably want them out there in this post". Why then did they not post the sony numbers? That was a sweetheart deal! Or, for that matter why do they not post any numbers ( save a few deals). Are they all sweetheart deals? I don't think they all are. We here speculate that they don't want to tip off others as to settlement prices. So what if they know. First movers get good deals, others won't. In our present situation, if we got giant numbers, why not post them and show thre procrastinators what their delays cost them. If we win the patent validations, which I think we will, they are going to have to pay no matter what the numbers were yesterdeay (or whenever).
The other thing I don't quite get is that if we "won" via settlement, why do we allow the "loser j3, to have any say in our PR. I understand that maybe to "win" we have to let them save face, but not at he expense of shareholders. If we were that confident in our patents, and trial so close, they should have gone for it. IMHO
