Does announcing that they just got paid 50-100 million in cash help PTSC during negotiations to purchase another company? Only if they are looking to purchase patents to troll. I think JT is looking for a company with a product to develop.

My personal belief is the J's will pay the money over a series of payments similar to AMD -although much larger $$$- so as to diguise the actual amounts paid. hence the note by JT that they will disclose what needs to be disclosed and nothing more.

I do not know whether PTSC needs to report PDS receivables or just cash on hand.

Yes the stock is a lot weaker than we all expected ( except head who mentioned it will be in teh 50's next week) But if we're not selling then why are we wasting time complaining, if you have an outlook and target price talk about. If you have a solution wriet it up and send it out.
