Will Mr. Flowers sign on permanently after his 120 days are up (sometime in early-mid January)? If not, why not?

 Why would the entire BOD agree/go along with/have no other choice but to restrict trading in their shares for over four months? Is it a completely lost cause from their POV, or is it OK by them to wait that long? Is it possible an acquisition/merger/buyout/joint venture could occur before that time, hence no reason to worry about locking up their shares that long?

Why are some shareholders registered to sell their shares (some 13 million of them, including the 4.5mm held by AMD? Is it because they know something, or they're just practicing good housekeeping?
