at the "All parties are pleased with the business resolution" since we have seen other settlements from Masushita, etc. with way different wordings; I will take a guess (hopefully not a stupid one) at the business resolution statement.

So, instead of a royalty bearing or cross licensing or straight licensing..........what if Mas, Tosh. etc. are somehow going to market and sell the ignite/alliance chip in some form where both TPL and PTSC will receive some monetary benefits or something like that. Maybe create a new division (company) jointly owned by the parties involved to sell chips. I guess there could a thousand way to have a business resolution where none of the parties are out of pocket money. If there is a new creation of a company or division where all benefit and no one loses..............well that is a lot cheaper than paying a big settlement.

I would like to hear other's opinion on what a business resolution would or could be.
