This morning I saw a few surprises, but the downdraft of the PPS wasn't one of them (at least not to any significant degree).

As for the why, as some have suggested, it could easily be someone(s) in need of cash for whatever, who bought recently (short term gain) in the 40s and now is cutting those shares loose. Why now? to avoid tax concerns for over a year (otherwise having to give back up to half that gain in taxes in 4.5 months - they need money, remember).

And yes, it could be Swartz, also with probable tax "issues". And people complain? If it's him, he's stepping aside. Each share he sells probably goes to stronger hands. People complain about Swartz - well there's only one way to do away with that concern - for him to sell off his position. If he's doing just that, what's the complaint all about?

And, gosh, anyone notice the rest of the market today? DOW down near 200, NAS down 45. And PTSC is down. Surprised?

JMHO, and some will declare this an "excuse" post or a "pump" post. But I suspect it's a lot closer to reality than the USPTO "excuse". Anyone that delves that deep should KNOW that the reexam is a very long process and that the process favors the inventor. And they should also recognize 30+ licensees (~50% may have got off cheap, ~50% probably didn't).
