Bill, I realize that what I posted indicated installments. I should have said specifically...dialogue something like this: (just for fun)

" we will pay you 100s of millions of dollars .....some of it (X) by a certain date date and the rest of it (Y) when all re-exams are complete and in your favor" Otherwise, if you don't accept, we will go to trial. If we lose, we will appeal and drag this out for years to come" The end result could mean that we pay you even less than we are offering now.

Deal or no deal?

Why would it not be prudent for TPL/PTSC to take this deal....especially if they are confident as we all are that the re-exams will once and for all validate the patents without question. I still see it as a position of strength for us.
