I know, on the surface the above looks to make more sense, but TPL has two business with very different business models. All those dollars rolling in. Distribute to private company owners, or build R&D/production/sales/marketing etc for making superior widgets with long term outlook for sales of superior widgets unknown? Does TPL really want to run a product company which needs a good deal of funding? Perhaps Intellasystems is not getting the needed funding. PTSC would be more willing to make the necessary investments. TPL owners get upfront $ bonus, perhaps a share in an ongoing business w/o having to fund it. Perhaps still get a share of the On Spec licensing as well as share of MMP. Yes it is way outside the box, but it might explain JT's silence. IMHO Opty
