Jim Turley has joined Patriot Scientific Corporation (PTSC) as President and CEO.

He was founder and principal analyst at Silicon Insider, a technology consulting firm specializing in microprocessors and embedded software. Turley is an acknowledged authority on microprocessor chips, semiconductor intellectual property, embedded technology, computers, and silicon technology. He is the author of seven books, was Editor-in-Chief of "Embedded Systems Design" (formerly "Embedded Systems Programming") magazine, editor and of the prestigious industry journal "Microprocessor Report," conference chairman of the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), and is a popular speaker at industry events. He is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, San Jose Mercury News, and appears regularly on television, radio, and Internet broadcasts.

Turley's experience includes senior executive management of a global semiconductor IP corporation, three corporate acquisitions, and a successful IPO. Jim serves on the Board of Directors and/or the Technical Advisory Board for several high-tech firms in the US and Europe. His consulting clients include investors, semiconductor firms, software companies, and computer OEMs from around the world.
