always wondered whether it is spelled Sch , Sh or Sc
sort of like Schwarcz, Shwarcz, or Scwarz
Websters prefers schmetter. Def : schmetter...noun...latin "schmetius" def :( 1) a word that can be used when you have used the word "letter" one too many times.
