If we assume that the Business Resolution in the settlement was indeed just that, and all parties are pleased, can we assume that JT has that second revenue stream in his sights? What other business resolution would make JT pleased, I ask you? Does not the Memorandum of Understanding, which is part of the settlement and covered by the NDA, hint at some kind of business JV? Wouldn't that be more attractive to Toshiba and Matsushita even if the eventual cost was more than what they would have paid if 100% cash? Toshiba's business model seems to embrace JVs. Even Toshiba and Matsushita are in a JV for LCD displays. Speculation is definitely more fun than watching the pps daily. Opty
