While I understand your comment, and perception, the REALITY is that "all commuications" have NOT been shutdown. In fact, there were 2 PR's about the settlements, there was a very minimalist "note" from Turley regarding the settlement, there have been PR's regarding the Verigy signing and the Humax signing, there has been an 8-K filing regarding the settlements, there has been a Post Effecttive Amendment filing with the SEC and a 10q filing with the SEC. All of these have been "significant" communications from PTSC. Granted, there has been very little personalization to these communications, but none the less that's 7 different items since the settlement.

That being said, these are the most basic communications and filings that PTSC is required to make. I think it's perfectly possible that the settlement agreement may have had a "quiet period" of 30 days whereby PTSC and TPL (and perhaps the J's) were limited to ONLY standard business PR's (like license signings or BOD member change announcements, etc.) and SEC filings required. Ronran's post is interesting, as today is the 16th, and tomorrow will be 30 days since the settlements, and lo and behold, perhaps a shareholder letter is forthcoming. Possibly just a coincidence, but perhaps not.
