There are 500 million shares authorized. There are approx 385 million outstanding (a ton btw). If the shares do inrcease dramatically then we can use the shares not outstanding for any type of M/A.

Otherwise cash is king, it can be used for unlimited types of M/A investing. Buying back shares is only one dimensional, as they would not ever sell them back on the open market, and we have approx 115 million available for use right now, why buy more?
