Don't forget:

How MMs take care of their firm's "valued (wealthy) clients and make keep them rich.

They will advise them to buy the "Marine Pennies" (the few good ones) while they work to keep the price down. Let your firm's VIP clients buy while you work to keep the pps down.

Then when they have their position (when the pps can no longer be held back and the company behind the stock starts to flourish, let the pps come up... to where your firm's fund manager can invest in the stock.

The money behind the typical mutual fund comes from -you guessed it- Mr and Mrs. I.R.A. (retirement fund) investor who now effectively buys the same shares VIP client bought at .20, .80, etc.

Guess who make the most in the process?

The one who buys $3,000 (I'm using IRA numbers as an example) worth at .42 or the one that buys $3000 worth at 5.00 when their retirement fund can finally buy it?

Who do you think has sold at $5.00 (or sells a portion, and holds the rest to sell later)?

When the rest of your shares are effectively free above $5.00, do you really have any additional risk?

Now when you buy one of the "Marine Pennies" who do you think wants to pry the shares from you any way they possibly can?
