the severity of the pending legislation. The Leckrone's made it very clear, early on, that it was very important IP companies and others with vested in interest proprietary technology take an active roll in the process. It concerned me from the get go and even more so now. PTSC management just told EVERYONE in know uncertain terms, it's serious business. I would expect the passage to have an immediate negative impact if the four remaining issues, of which are all important to us, aren't resolved to our liking. This is exactly the ammo big tech has been waiting for. I had hoped it would get lost in the election year but it appears that won't be the case. I have no problem admitting I invested because I thought TPL had everyone by the balls, right or wrong. It would now appear the tide may have turned, somewhat, and TPL may have a much harder up hill battle. Has anyone heard ARM or Rambus's position on this?
I know what Ronran said earlier but it would appear to me that this kind of passage would give potential infringers plenty of time to stall while the courts figure out how to interpret the new legislation.
