Are you for/against limiting damages for malpractice lawsuits?
I knew you were going to ask... I'm not convinced limiting damages in malpractice suits would actually solve anything, tho truhfully I probably would be so.. I have witnessed over 50% of the OB Docs in my area quit, directly due to their excessive Malpractice Insurance costs.. I think Health Care Insurance Cos should be Non-profit.. but I don't think we'll ever see that, and would probably just raise other issues that would complicate things. FWIW, I have also seen pregnant women having to be flown out of the Vancouver BC area into the US because they did not have the medical necessities nor room to handle them.
how many here would write their congressman biatching about the patent reform bill if they were not invested in PTSC?
Probably not many.. but we usually react to what we know, and what directly affects us.. and this very well may IMO
It can also be argued that PTSC has not been building the company and is a one trick pony (MMP). Sorry, I know that is repeated often (esp by me!) If they had a plan/strategy, investor confidence would be a lot higher and we probably would not be languising at .40.
Absolutely.. include the NDA/silence.. the as yet resolved PTO Reexams.. they are all contributing factors IMO
I'm not so sure their efforts are all that altruistic. Their concern is their bottom line. not "the stifling of innovation, ideas, inventions, etc.."
Again, I agree.. but that doesn't mean we shouldn't attempt to help 'the greater cause' especially if it maintains/improves our (PTSC investors) bottom line, as well all the little guys out there whose life blood resolve around this issue and the overall future of American innovation. It's something I/we can do.. if it helps great! If not.. the time invested was not that much... but at least I/we tried.
Let's hope some news this week/month.
Definitely
Good luck to you also..
