I think it'll take a miracle to change or reverse the course Congress has taken regarding patent reform. There is big, and I mean BIG money involved here, and with that comes graft and corruption on both sides of the isle and at every level of government. This isn't a republican or democratic issue... this is an issue about the destruction of one of the bedrocks of our society, the right of invention and innovation verses the forces of fascism and corporate domination of a people, the stifliing of invention for corporate greed, and the theft of intellectual propery for corporate profits. I think we all see the writing on the wall, the Supreme Court is stacked with fascists, Congress is stacked with greedy politicians caring not a whit for what is good for America, only what is good for their immediate bank account. We can only hope that there are enough fair minded patriots in Congress to stop this totalitarian nightmare, but something tells me we're on the losing end of the corporate stick here. Please, PLEASE write your congressmen and women and tell them to oppose this legislation. If enough constituents write there may be some who care more about how their constituents feel rather than the payola they'll see at retirement if not before.
