FWIW..Just so you know that I kept to my word and contacted every Senator, see my message below and the auto-reply from the Senators who are setup to auto respond to all incoming email.
Keep the votes coming!
Dear Elected Official,
Please understand that as innovative Americans we feel that all businesses,
whether public or private, big or small, deserve the opportunity to develop and
protect their own ideas. With the goal of economic equality in mind we join
with a growing number of businesses, universities and others who feel that the
Patent Reform Act should not weaken the ability of Americans to protect their
ideas. We ask that you vote against S.1145. Please visit the following on-line
blog and see for yourself that in less than 1 day has a growing #of your
constituents who are against the passing of S.1145. Please vote on behalf of
those who elected you into office, not on behalf of big business. Thank you.

Dear friend,
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail me and let me know your thoughts
on matters of concern to you. Hearing from Wisconsinites is my most
important source of information and one of the things I enjoy most about
my job.
Constituents who have included their name, e-mail address, and mailing
address in their message will receive a response from me addressing the
issues raised. If you did not include an e-mail and mailing address, I
encourage you to resend your original message with this information (visit
http://feingold.senate.gov/contact.html to resubmit your contact
information and message). At this time, I am only able to respond to
e-mails that are sent individually, not to mass-generated e-mails.
However, the views expressed in any mass-generated e-mail that includes a
Wisconsin address will be recorded.
If you have a time sensitive question, please feel free to contact one
of my offices by calling one of the numbers listed below.
Thank you for writing me, I look forward to hearing from you on other
issues of importance to you.
Sincerely,
Russell D. Feingold

Dear Friend:
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns with me
via e-mail. I hope you will understand that, because of the volume of
e-mails I receive from residents of New York State, I cannot at this time
respond to messages received from residents of other states. I encourage
you to contact your U.S. senators if you have an issue or concern that
needs immediate attention. You can access your senators electronically by
visiting http://www.senate.gov/contacting/index_by_state.cfm for a listing
of their contact information. If you are still interested in learning
more about the work I am doing on behalf of New York State, I hope you
will continue to monitor my work through my website at

Sincerely,
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton

Thank you for contacting me. Due to the volume of e-mails, I can only
respond to constituents with New Jersey mailing addresses. If you need

As one of Idaho's United States Senators, my first responsibility is to represent and address the concerns of Idahoans. While I am interested in the views of all Americans and am pleased that you took the time to contact me, messages from Idahoans are answered first. My colleagues in the Senate have similar priorities. If you are not an Idahoan, and want to express your opinion or you need help with a federal agency, I hope you will give your Senators the opportunity to serve you by contacting them directly.
