unless PTSC knows what the J's PAID (I'm sure they do) and have accordingly raised the price for the Licenses.
The companies in negotiations think it's too much, don't pay the new rate.
PTSC does not dilute the number in April over an additional X licensees, so determining the actual amount PAID by the J's is a bit easier.
Then those companies now know what they likely paid from the SEC filings, etc. (simple math at that point, not obscured by increased signings) and the price for licenses goes up.
I wondwer if PTSC said "We licensed company
A at 5,000,000
B at 9,300,000
C at 2,657,000
D at 4,875,000
E at 2,750,000
and report 145,000,000 in revenues (due to NDA, we cannot tell you what companies F,G and H paid)".
Would that still be conforming to the NDA?
I don't think that would happen since PTSC would not want to say how much each company paid individually, but how about
"We licensed 5 companies for a total of $X and 3 companies for an additional $Y."
They would not disclose WHICH 3 companies paid a TOTAL of Y, or which 5 companies paid a total of X. It could be any combination of the 8 to come to the aggregate numbers.... would THAT be in line with the NDA????
