Don't under estimate Humax either, even if it is a new name to you in thinking about set-top boxes like Directv's. I have 2 Humax TIVO's upstairs.

I started counting electronics stuff in the house that already had an MMP license... 20 something (2 lexmarks, 1 HP, multiple toshibas, Sony's, Panasonics, etc. before I gave up on all the traditional "camera" companies. No wonder my bill is over $400/mo...
