Your math is a lot better than mine, but I can't help judging the DTV figures based on my own experience. 

I live alone and have two of the boxes for which I pay 5 bucks apiece every month.  At $10.00 a month, that's $120 a year.  Many people I know have 3, some have 4, and I'll bet others with large families may have more.  That's a lot of money annually that DTV is collecting.

I think this may have amounted to a large payment.
