One question I had asked be included in the shareholder letter was that considering the current situation with the NDA, and the obvious effect it's having on the share price, would JT be willing to commit to do what it takes to have the financials & SEC 10Q filing ready for example within 2-3 weeks from the end of the quarter, rather than waiting the typical 5-6 weeks that they are allowed, and have typically been using. Presumably, what it would take is to have the in-house books and the PDS books (will require help from TPL/Alliacense) ready, and then have the outside auditors do their magic early. The in-house & PDS stuff PTSC controls (obviously only if TPL is willing), and the outside auditors expedited services should be able to be bought for a fee (and it shouldn't be that much extra as it's the same work they will do eventually, just that PTSC is buying a spot earlier on their schedule and possibly with some extra man hours involved).
The question wasn't included, and the likelihood that they would commit anyway is probably slim to none. However, considering the share price problems, provided the quarter represents what we think it does from a positive perspective, I think it would prove pretty valuable to surprise the market in the middle of March with $50M to $60M (and hopefully way more though I'm from the school of measured expectations) when they don't expect it. It would also probably help the licensing efforts to see that the J3 and other licensees this quarter paid some significant fees, and that it will only get harder on the holdouts if they delay. And the boost to the pps should obviously help the M&A and listing efforts for the obvious reasons as well.
Of course, I'm assuming the quarter's numbers are knockout relative to previous quarters, and I'm assuming that the continued oultlook remains rosey and the M&A is pending within months. If these factors aren't accurate than my point is moot, but if they are accurate, it would be to PTSC's STRONG benefit to release the 10Q as soon as possible this time and get us out from under the NDA and start showing the market some cajones (pardon my French).
