Z - An NDA is "very common". The J-3 didn't want it in place to hurt us or to help us. They simply didn't want to look bad to the public, their customers and their competition. Paying $100 million to us for infringing on our patents does make them look bad - hense the low key announcement. I'm sure Patriot didn't mind all that much because if the settlements are huge, the SP will respond in due time. The NDA probably wasn't a deal breaker for our attorneys - they were probably expecting it and understand too well that it's part of the game.
