You say: "PTSC has a chip tech in every chip out there yet we never sold a chip, were making millions with nothing for sale."

First, you need to do some work on your PTSC history. Yes, they did sell some chips - for test/design/further development purposes(check Genroco - which built the worlds fastest data gateway based on use of the ShBoom way back in 1998). Granted, those sells were not in bulk quantities.

Truth be known, PTSC NEVER intended to "sell chips", ever. They were designing and developing chip technology that they intended to license to others (sound familiar?). Nothing to sell? See ARM. Based on your logic, they have "nothing to sell" either.

Now, if PTSC were to complete an acquisition of some company that sells something tangible, that company would probably be a subsidiary (as Holocom sort of is). They still won't be selling anything physically tangible themselves. They NEVER WILL, IMO. And there's nothing wrong with that!

I don't understand why people still have a buggy-whip mindset. "Gotta sell widgets". Talk to Google, Yahoo, ARM, EBay, etc., etc., and tell them how wrong they've been. They don't sell anything tangible either. They sell the technology/platform capability to built and/or sell things.

This was just barely worthy of a post....but it seems many here get real hung up on the "lack of a widget".

FWIW,

SGE
