would or could Ignite/Inflame compete against the STI cell?

[ I'm no java junki, but it did benchmark above/beyond all others - SGE could chime in here]

I just remember reading that out of the box the speed on I/I blew everyone else out of the water........or something like that.

[Yes if i remember because of it's multicore/stack which imo is what sun has/is doing today]

And can you explain if it's I/I that runs on a Java platform (am I getting this right?) And if so, what is the significance to this in the Chip industry?

[ I believe it was jave-code but sems it could be carried over onto a soc microprocessor and is actually refered to as one. The stacked platform patent we have vs what going on in the industry today as per milstones hint at that high-end cell while back: ie.., http://www.zdnet.co.kr/etc/eyeon/dig...

I know AMD has licensed I/I but is not usin it currently. If I/I could compete with the STI cell, wouldn't it be amazing if in the grand plan we merge with AMD and take on STI head to head?

[I was unaware AMD licensed it - thought they took a stake in us with shares which they recently registered to sell. But yes it would and imo put us at ods with STI/Sun]

OK.........I can dream too. lol

[the sustinance of life]

Here's to a very bright future for PTSC and all of us.

[yup - Glory be ]

Best of luck to everyone.
