It was my understanding that infringers of PTSC patents paid a fee that was calculated on a usage factor. There is no exact way to know the usage without an inspection of the infringers books. Since most companies sell many different products that use our technology, and they don't usually list the numbers of each product sold for competitive reasons, how do we know who the big fish actually are? Obviously we do a lot of guess work. This probably accounts for why some of the seemingly big infringers didn't pay as much as we may have thought they would have to and visa versa.
