From the '584 patent.. http://www.wikipatents.com/5784584.html This application is a division of U.S. application Ser. No. 07/389,334, filed Aug. 3, 1989, now U.S. Pat. No. 5,440,749. This means that because ARM is being accused of infringing the '749, it is actually an accusation that ARM is infringing the '336 & '148 as well, since they were born from the original 07/389,334 app in Aug 1989 Make no mistake, ARM is being accused of infringing the '336/'148, just not in this current litigation.. Leckrone alleged that all ARM processor core families, including ARM7, ARM9, ARM9E, ARM10E, ARM11 and the Cortex family infringe upon the U.S. 584 patent and on U.S. patent 5,440,749 in the MMP portfolio. http://www.eetimes.com/news/design/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=202103696 regards |
