The duck is willing to fly and knows the route he'll take - it's the same route flown back in early 2005. Remember that one?...He hit high altitudes on that flight for a short time, but turbulence over a very long time pushed him down to maybe 1/5th of he flew at the peak.
With the reported gusty tailwinds, this one won't push him as high, but the destination should be reached in record time (but not record height). He'll also do best to avoid the return route and keep it a one way trip. Even with the promise of what's to come if he returns, if he decides he will, he has a feeling the pond he flew from will have been filed, paved and turned into a parking lot.
(Never mind me, I'm on drugs...)
