I agree.  I don't know why everyone is so upset.  So far, it's just a title.  The title intrigued me.  Now, I want to know what he has to say!  

This is an IP symposium.  I would think his paper will be well-researched and pertinent to the topic of the day. 

Remember, this is how he makes his living and everyone knows he has been closely involved in the IP business, especially with PTSC.  How would this impact his credibility if he was negative about this relationship?

All in my humble opinion, of course.
