MMs on the bid.. means they want the shares that any trader is selling... the MMs on the ask means they want to sell the shares they got... sell to you.

MMs on the bid is support. MM on the ask is resistance...

SBSH is the player...controls the majority of the volume.... when he sits on the ask and nowhere on the bid.... he can downtick the Ask..causing the MM on the bid to move down....
