Now I'll hit another subject - the (title of the) upcoming pitch by JT. People immediately presume the worst..... Pretty darn silly IMO. How would that affect his future, if he went in blasting away at his last employer? I mean, if he did that, who would ever hire him? IMO, it was a snare.
Agreed - usually when Corporate-types (and I'll use that term for JT), leave, they have to sign a few things - one may be a non-compete clause, but more importantly, a NDA on Company information, limited to X amount of time - I've head of them for anywhere from 1 to 3 years. Regardless, at this juncture in time, I would expect JT had to sign one to collect his severance pay.
If he didn't, the Corporate lawyer at PTSC should be take out in a field and shot - no matter how nice a guy he may be.
