I was guessing for a release of the Q before the opening on the 9th. Any delay in that woud cause a lot of consternation among the troops IMO.

BUT, to carry your thought one step forward...IF they decided to do a release AFTER the close, if it were me, I'd do it after the close on TUESDAY the 8th.

It would nearly suffice the 9th requirementexpected date and a release after the bell on the 8th is like a release on the morning of the 9th.

But, like you have said, that would give many a chance to peruse the Q.

Then I would follow that up with a killer PR on the morning of the 9th to continue the interest flow in the stock. All this, of course, on the assumption that there is a lot of good things to convey. JMO
