I have to comment on the "street issue". I sat with my soon to be brother-in-law this past weekend. He works for one of the largest commercial/investment banks in the United States. He works in their Asset Mgmt group and talks regularly with the Equity Group. I've never mentioned PTSC to anyone outside of my wife. He and I were having an interesting conversion when I decided to brotch the subject of Patriot. Now I didn't bring it up to promote, but rather to ask him specific questions related to the financial industry.

He started laughting when I mentioned the OTC and added that he hoped I had REALLY done my homework on the company. He started explaining how little the average investor actually understands about trading in general and the mechanisms behind it. He said most firms barely sit on a stock 2 months more or less 2 years. He said the fastest way to get fired at a major investment firm would be dabbling in any OTC stock. He acknowledged there were certainly companies on the OTC that would eventually move onto a legitimate exchange. He explained that even though the OTC is under SEC regulation it is still akin to a "Lawless Town" . There's sheriff around but he spends most of the time sleeping in his office. Sure he'll stick his head outside the door every once in a while but it's usually to tell everyone to hold it down. I dropped him some information on our little company and he was going to look at it today. I only explained a fraction of the S&L relationship but it didn't seem necessary as he was very familiar with these kind of setups. He wrinkled his face at first but listened a little more once I explained some of the particulars. I tell this only because this past Saturday only cemented my feelings on how far we may still have to go. I was speaking with some one who is from "The Street" and getting the exact reaction I expected. I didn't consider it negative but merely a reality check on the situation. The battle for long term appreciation may actually "finally begin" this Wednesday. GLTA.
